Bo Harris

Actor, Writer, Director

Bo made his start and honed his skills in theatre. There he wrote and directed the gospel play “He’ll Bring You Out”, later to be called “Just Stand.” He also showed his wide range of talents by writing songs and directing musicians for theatrical performances. After 8 years, Bo turned his talents to television.

Bo worked as a photojournalist covering local and national news. Working over 16 years with an ABC, NBC affiliate, he quickly learned the difference in shooting news versus film. He then went to work for a CBS, FOX duopoly. The news business has put Bo in unique and sometimes challenging positions, such as crime scenes, murder trials and funerals. It can also be rewarding and uplifting covering concerts, Space Shuttle lift offs, NFL games and Super Bowls. Bo has been recognized for his photographer excellence, winning several awards in television news.

Bo’s television experience only magnified his ambition as a filmmaker. In 2003, Bo directed his first full length feature film, “Game Night.”
