Trying Times is a heartfelt Christian comedy written, produced, and directed by Jacksonville filmmaker Izell “Bo” Harris of Bo Film Works LLC. The film follows the Alexander family as they navigate the challenges of everyday life, focusing on a husband and wife whose marriage has reached a critical crossroads. Through a series of humorous situations, unexpected lessons, and moments of faith, the family discovers that love, forgiveness, and perseverance are often found in the midst of life’s greatest struggles.
Filled with laughter, inspiration, and relatable family dynamics, Trying Times reminds audiences that even during the most difficult seasons, hope and healing are never out of reach.
